MBD Group Celebrates 9th Founder’s Day

MBD Group celebrates the Founder’s Day on July 10.

On the occasion of the 74th birth anniversary of its founder Ashok Kumar Malhotra on July 10, the MBD Group celebrated its 9th Founder’s Day.

Ashok Kumar Malhotra started working at the family book shop, ‘Malhotra Book Depot’, while he was still in school. A first-generation entrepreneur who embarked on his journey of books at the tender age of 13, he authored and published General Education, his first book, with an initial seed capital of Rs. 1 lakh. Under his guidance and able leadership, MBD Group has phenomenally grown in the six decades of its existence, not only in the field of education but also in hospitality, retail developments and much more.
