Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the proposal to organise the International Rajasthani Conclave from September 23-24 in Jaipur.
Gehlot has also approved the proposal of an additional budget provision of Rs 5 crore for this mega event to be held under the aegis of the Industries Department and the Rajasthan Foundation.
The chief minister had announced the organisation of the International Rajasthani Conclave in the budget for the year 2023-24.
According to a government release, the two-day conclave will feature interesting sessions on Rajasthani pride, literature, business, tradition, music, art, culture, social welfare, enterprise, food and entertainment, among others.
It will include a special session on entrepreneurship and investment opportunities. Entrepreneurs from across the world will participate in it, the release said.
The Pravasi Samman Award announced in the NRR policy will also be inaugurated in this conclave, it said.
In the last three years, the role of the Rajasthan Foundation has been very important in strengthening the relationship with the Pravasi Rajasthanis. The Foundation has been regularly organising various programmes to connect the migrant Rajasthanis with their motherland, the release said.
