Adele, known for her unwavering support of the LGBTQI+ community, confronted a heckler who disrupted her Las Vegas concert with the insult 'Pride sucks!' The incident occurred during her Saturday show at Caesar's Palace, where the Grammy winner was engaging with her audience.
In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Adele, 36, responded: 'What was that? Did you just say, 'Pride sucks?' Did you come to my f***king show and just say that Pride sucks? 'Are you f***king stupid? Don't be so f***king ridiculous. If you got nothing nice to say, shut up, all right?'
Last year, Adele celebrated Pride Month during her Las Vegas residency by donning a black dress adorned with a rainbow flag train and showering the audience with Pride-themed confetti. Pride Month has been observed annually since 1970.
