In a gesture of regional solidarity, leaders from India's neighborhood and the Indian Ocean Region will be attending the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi, scheduled to be held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday evening, officials confirmed.

Notably, Surekha Yadav, the first female pilot of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Solapur Vande Bharat train, along with nine other loco pilots from Indian Railways, have been extended invitations to this significant event.

Elaborate preparations are underway for the grand ceremony, including designated enclosures for the council of ministers to be sworn in, and VIP seating, according to officials on Saturday.
