Iga Swiatek secured her third straight French Open title with a commanding victory over Jasmine Paolini, highlighting her dominance on Saturday. The top-seeded Swiatek initially trailed 2-1 but surged ahead to win 6-2, 6-1. This victory extends her remarkable winning streak at Roland Garros to 21 matches, boasting a career record of 35-2 on the clay courts of Paris.

Swiatek, 23, is the first woman to achieve the feat of three consecutive French Open titles since Justine Henin's reign from 2005 to 2007. She also triumphed in the French Open in 2020 and the US Open in 2022, making her 5-0 in major finals to date.

Despite a valiant effort from Paolini, who was making her debut in a Grand Slam final, Swiatek’s superior play was evident throughout. Following an initial scare, Swiatek’s adaptability and technical prowess ensured her victory, emphasizing why she has remained atop the WTA rankings since April 2022.
