Whitney Peak Joins Untitled Shark Thriller with Phoebe Dynevor

Actor Whitney Peak, known for her role in the ''Gossip Girl'' reboots, is set to star in Sony's untitled shark thriller alongside ''Bridgerton'' star Phoebe Dynevor. Directed by Tommy Wirkola, the movie revolves around shark attacks during a hurricane. Shooting starts in Melbourne in July.

Actor Whitney Peak, renowned for her role as Zoya Lott in the ''Gossip Girl'' reboots, is gearing up for a sea of thrills by starring in Sony’s yet-to-be-named shark thriller. She will be sharing the screen with ''Bridgerton'' sensation Phoebe Dynevor.

Although the plot specifics and Peak’s character details are currently under tight wraps, insiders reveal the story will focus on a community's struggle against shark attacks amid a hurricane, as per The Hollywood Reporter. Tommy Wirkola, acclaimed for directing ''Violent Night'' featuring ''Stranger Things'' star David Harbour, will helm the project.

Production is slated to kick off in Melbourne this July, with Adam McKay and Kevin Messick producing under their banner, HyperObject Industries. Additionally, Peak, who charmed audiences in the Disney+ sequel ''Hocus Pocus 2'', is set to star in the upcoming action film ''Trap House''.
