Sharvari Wagh Joins Alia Bhatt in YRF's Female Spy Universe

Sharvari Wagh feels honoured and responsible to join Alia Bhatt in YRF's new female-led spy film. The movie marks a significant milestone in representing women in action roles. Wagh, who debuted with YRF's 'Bunty Aur Babli 2', underwent rigorous action training. Her recent success with 'Munjya' propels her career further.

Actor Sharvari Wagh expressed her excitement and sense of responsibility as she joins Alia Bhatt in Yash Raj Films' (YRF) first female-led spy movie. In March, YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani had announced the film, part of their established spy universe.

YRF's spy universe began in 2012 with 'Ek Tha Tiger' and expanded with hits like 'Tiger Zinda Hai', 'War', 'Pathaan', 'Tiger 3', and 'Fighter'. This yet-to-be-titled film features Bhatt and Wagh as super-agents and will begin filming this year.

Speaking with PTI, Wagh emphasized the importance of such roles for women in the industry, stating that sharing the screen with Bhatt is a significant milestone. She admires female action stars like Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, and Bhatt and believes this film will inspire the next generation of women.
