Italian police have detained the owner of an agriculture company responsible for abandoning a 31-year-old Indian worker after a machinery accident severed his arm. The worker, Satnam Singh, later died due to excessive bleeding, in an incident that has deeply shocked the nation.

Satnam Singh was left by his employer following a severe injury caused by a strawberry wrapping machine in Lazio. Despite being airlifted to a hospital in Rome, he succumbed to his injuries two days later.
