Travel + Leisure India and South Asia has appointed Akshita M. Bhanj Deo as Editor-in-Chief starting July 15, 2024. Deo, a former TEDx speaker with extensive experience in philanthropy, will lead the editorial strategy. Samreen Tungekar joins as Managing Editor and Neelangana Vasudeva as Fashion Editor.

Travel + Leisure India and South Asia has appointed Akshita M. Bhanj Deo as its new Editor-in-Chief, effective from July 15, 2024. Deo, a former TEDx speaker and manager at Dasra, has a wealth of experience in philanthropic events and community building.

Joining Deo in the editorial team are Samreen Tungekar as the new Managing Editor and Neelangana Vasudeva as Fashion Editor. Tungekar previously served as Managing Editor at Grazia India, while Vasudeva was the Deputy Manager of Fashion Content and Styling at Ajio.com.

These strategic appointments aim to enhance Travel + Leisure India and South Asia's editorial presence and inspire its readers with unique travel experiences. The brand's CEO, Björn Rettig, emphasized the alignment of these appointments with the company's mission to inspire and guide travelers worldwide.
