Taha Shah Badussha, star of the Netflix series 'Heeramandi,' has made a significant mark by turning showstopper for designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla at the opening show of the India Couture Week 2024.

Badussha, who previously worked as a model, expressed his honor at the opportunity. 'I feel very honoured... I used to be invited to walk the ramp as a model and now I am invited to walk as a showstopper. So I think it’s a growth in life,' he told PTI in an interview, attributing his success to '15 years of hard work, resilience, and persistence.'

After gaining fame for his role as Nawab Tajdar Baloch in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Heeramandi,' Badussha has continued to achieve career milestones, one of which included meeting Hollywood icon Tom Cruise. 'It would be a fan moment for anybody. I have been a fan of his... Just to be in his presence was so inspiring,' he said.
