Union Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat described the day as 'etched in golden letters' and expressed gratitude to UNESCO and the World Heritage Committee for acknowledging the universal value of the Moidams.
This milestone makes Moidams the first cultural property from the Northeast to receive such an honor, highlighting its historical and cultural significance.
