Devotees Gather in UP to Celebrate Third Monday of Sawan
Devotees across Uttar Pradesh gathered at Lord Shiva temples on the third Monday of 'Sawan'. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in rituals in Gorakhpur, while notable gatherings occurred in Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Ayodhya. Extensive arrangements were made to accommodate the large crowds.

Devotees across Uttar Pradesh flocked to Lord Shiva temples to offer prayers on the third Monday of 'Sawan'.
In Gorakhpur, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed rituals at the Mansarovar temple, praying for the well-being of the state's residents. Varanasi's Kashi Vishwanath temple saw long queues from early morning, while significant crowds gathered at Prayagraj's temples.
In Ayodhya, large numbers of devotees bathed in the Saryu river. Prayagraj-based Ram Naam Bank convenor Ashutosh Varshney highlighted the month's dedication to Lord Shiva, emphasizing the importance of Mondays.
The Siddhpeeth Nageshwar Nath temple in Ayodhya saw extensive arrangements for devotees. Chief priest Acharya Satyendra Das praised the smooth conduct of the Kanwar Yatra, noting the vibrant atmosphere in the city.
Meanwhile, Yogi Adityanath held a public meeting for the second consecutive day at Gorakhnath temple, addressing the concerns of around 400 people and issuing necessary instructions.
