India beams with pride as Bengaluru's 12-year-old drumming prodigy, Jithen Arun, earns the prestigious title of Master Scuba Diver, making him one of the youngest globally to achieve this rare feat. This remarkable accomplishment places him among the elite two percent of divers who reach this level, showcasing his exceptional dedication and skill.
Jithen's diving journey began with the completion of the PADI Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications. These initial steps laid the foundation for his impressive diving career. He furthered his expertise by completing five PADI Specialty Diver courses: Drift Diver, Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver, Underwater Navigator, Peak Performance Buoyancy, and Search and Recovery.
His dive into Drift Diver training taught him to navigate underwater currents with ease. The Enriched Air Diver course introduced him to Nitrox for longer dives. As an Underwater Navigator, he mastered the diving compass, and in Peak Performance Buoyancy, he learned perfect neutral buoyancy. The Search and Recovery course equipped him with skills to locate and recover lost items.
