During an investor call this week, Disney highlighted the success of its movies, marking a return to prominence after falling from its position as the highest-grossing Hollywood studio in 2023. 'It's never too late to have that big Hollywood comeback,' said Paul Dergarabedian, senior media analyst for Comscore. 'And they've certainly had that.'

With 'Inside Out 2' now the highest-grossing animated film of all time and 'Deadpool & Wolverine' breaking records for an R-rated movie, Disney's box office success is undeniable. CEO Bob Iger expressed optimism about the company's upcoming film slate, including 'Moana 2,' 'Disney's Snow White,' 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps,' and James Cameron's third 'Avatar' movie.
