Lieutenant Governor Participates in Sacred Amarnath Yatra Ritual
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha performed the 'pujan' of Chhari Mubarak, the holy mace of Lord Shiva, in connection with the Amarnath Yatra. The sacred ritual took place during the auspicious Shravan Shukla Panchami at Mahadev Gir Dashnami Akhada in presence of Mahant Deependra Giri.

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday performed the 'pujan' of Chhari Mubarak, the holy mace of Lord Shiva, as part of the ongoing annual Amarnath Yatra.
On the auspicious day of Shravan Shukla Panchami, Sinha participated in the ritual at Mahadev Gir Dashnami Akhada, with Mahant Deependra Giri, the custodian of the holy mace, present at the ceremony, according to an official spokesman.
The Lieutenant Governor sought Lord Shiva's blessings, praying for peace, progress, and well-being for all. This 'Chhari Pujan' is a significant ritual preceding the completion of the annual pilgrimage. The holy mace will soon be taken to the Shri Amarnathji cave following the traditional Chhari Mubarak Yatra practices.
