In a recent development, the proprietor of Mridanga Vision, Nigoshkumar M, turned himself in to the Palarivattom police following a Kerala High Court directive. The surrender came after severe injuries were sustained by Congress MLA Uma Thomas, who fell from a dais during a mass dance event organized by the company.
The incident, which unfolded at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, has sparked legal proceedings, including a cheating case against Mridanga Vision. The accusations involve collecting exorbitant sums from participants with promises of Guinness World Records participation—a claim now under heavy scrutiny and investigation.
Meanwhile, the injured MLA remains in hospital care, with doctors noting slight improvements. However, she continues to face health challenges, including fluid accumulation around her lungs.
