Sean Combs Battles NBC in Defamation Lawsuit Over Documentary Allegations
Sean 'Diddy' Combs has filed a defamation lawsuit against NBC Universal over a documentary that accuses him of heinous crimes, including serial murder and sex trafficking. Combs claims the allegations are false and seeks USD 100 million in damages. His trial is set for May.
Sean 'Diddy' Combs has initiated a lawsuit against NBC Universal, alleging that the network's documentary falsely accuses him of serious crimes. The New York state court filing claims the documentary defames the Bad Boy Records founder by portraying him as a murderer and sex trafficker.
The documentary, titled “Diddy: Making of a Bad Boy,” includes sensational claims linking Combs to the deaths of Kimberly Porter, Christopher Wallace, and Dwight Arrington Myers, while also accusing him of sex crimes involving minors. The lawsuit asserts that these allegations are unfounded and driven by a desire for increased viewership.
Amid his detention on federal charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, Combs maintains his innocence and is seeking compensation of no less than USD 100 million. His legal team argues that the documentary was made in blatant disregard of the truth, which they say harms his right to a fair trial.
