Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal made headlines with his visit to Mahakumbh 2025, where he took a sacred dip at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The actor expressed gratitude for the profound experience, declaring, "I am feeling good. I was waiting to visit Mahakumbh. I am fortunate as I got the opportunity to come here."
This visit comes as anticipation builds for Kaushal's upcoming film, 'Chhaava'. The historical epic, set to release on February 14, 2025, chronicles the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of the legendary Maratha ruler Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film features Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna alongside Kaushal.
The Mahakumbh event itself drew an astounding 1.47 million devotees for a holy dip on Thursday, a testament to its global spiritual magnetism. As of February 12, over 482.9 million devotees have participated, illustrating the monumental scale of this religious gathering, ongoing since Paush Purnima on January 13, 2025, and set to conclude on Mahashivratri on February 26.
