The Assam Police has issued summons to popular YouTubers Ranveer Allahbadia and Ashis Chanchlani. The move comes as part of an investigation into allegations of promoting obscenity through a publicly accessible online platform.

The cyber police team, already stationed in Mumbai, has communicated the summons to the duo. However, three additional individuals mentioned in the case have yet to receive their legal notices, according to Guwahati Joint Commissioner of Police Ankur Jain.

The accusations stem from a formal complaint lodged by a local resident, highlighting controversial remarks made during an episode of the online show 'India's Got Latent'. The episode allegedly featured explicit discussions, triggering a legal probe.
