Benedict Cumberbatch is stepping into a key role in 'Blood on Snow,' an indie adaptation of the Jo Nesbo crime thriller. The film, directed by Cary Fukunaga, sees Cumberbatch joining a cast that includes Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Eva Green, and Ben Mendelsohn, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Cumberbatch replaces Tom Hardy, who withdrew due to scheduling conflicts. Filming is slated to start later this month in Latvia.
