The Governor of Goa, P S Sreedharan Pillai, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, and their cabinet have embarked on a spiritual journey to the renowned Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj this Saturday. They plan to participate in the traditional holy dip in the sacred river Ganga.
Organized by the Goa government, special travel arrangements including a dedicated flight from Dabolim International Airport and trains, were made to accommodate public interest in the event. The Chief Minister remarked that attending such an event is a rare opportunity.
BJP Goa President Damodar Naik emphasized the importance of this occasion, noting the government's efforts to respect public sentiment by arranging transport to the spiritual gathering. Despite the absence of State Health Minister Vishwajit Rane, the cabinet was otherwise fully represented.
