The Watershed Campaign, a major initiative to promote awareness about watershed development, has successfully concluded in Nagaland's Zunheboto district, according to officials. The campaign spanned 20 days and engaged residents across four districts.

Organized by the Union Ministry of Land Resources in partnership with the state's Department of Land Resources, the programme included Kohima, Wokha, and Mokokchung districts alongside Zunheboto. It commenced on February 5 in Kohima and aimed to instill a community-driven approach to watershed project implementation.

Assistant Inspector of Land Resources, Roselyn Chishi, emphasized the need for local community involvement at the field level. The concluding ceremony featured land and water conservation pledges, along with traditional folk songs and dances in five villages: Asukiqa, Ghokimi, Kitami, Tsaphimi, and Puneboqa.
