Outer Banks Star Drew Starkey Joins Apple TV+ Series 'Lucky'

Drew Starkey, known for his role in Outer Banks, is set to join the cast of Apple TV+'s forthcoming series Lucky. The show features Anya Taylor-Joy in the leading role, and is penned by Jonathan Tropper, adapting Marissa Stapley's acclaimed novel of the same name.
Starkey will portray Cary, the husband of protagonist Lucky, played by Taylor-Joy, in a significant recurring role. Annette Bening, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, and Timothy Olyphant also star in the series. Apple Studios is producing the show, with Tropper and Cassie Pappas serving as co-showrunners.
Notably, Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter are executive producers under the Hello Sunshine banner, alongside Taylor-Joy. Jonathan Van Tulleken will direct multiple episodes, including the pilot. Starkey recently starred alongside Daniel Craig in Queer at the 2024 Venice International Film Festival.
