Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath asserted the transformative power of the Maha Kumbh in redefining Prayagraj from a mafia-dominated city to a modern marvel. Speaking at a conclave, he outlined how linking faith and economy facilitated this transformation, showcasing massive development projects that have redefined the city's identity.
The event also honored the unsung heroes—sanitation workers—whose diligent efforts ensured the success of the colossal event. In recognition, Chief Minister Adityanath praised their work, stating that their dedication laid the foundation for a 'Swachh Kumbh.' This acknowledgment was made special by showering them with flower petals.
Adityanath depicted the Maha Kumbh as a global attraction, overcoming negativity with an unprecedented visitor turnout. The festival broke records with over 66.30 crore devotees attending in 45 days, setting an example of effective management and resilience, linked to the faith-driven transformation of livelihoods and societal structures.
