Holi Festivities Unfold at Gorakhnath Temple with Yogi Adityanath

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath commenced the Holi celebrations at the Gorakhnath temple on Friday, according to a state government statement. As the Gorakshpeethadhiswar, he played a central role in the festivities.
During the visit, Adityanath observed the traditional rite of Holika Dahan at the temple mela ground, worshipping the bhasm amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras before performing an aarti. Devotees and seers then applied tilak on him as a mark of reverence.
The Chief Minister continued his visit by offering Holika Bhasm at the Shrinathji temple, enjoyed cultural Faag songs, and visited the gaushala where he interacted with animals, feeding jaggery to cows and grains to peacocks and ducks.
