Hilaria Baldwin recently offered insights into her relationship with stepdaughter Ireland Baldwin during a candid episode of The Baldwins. With a unique dynamic shaped by an 11-year age gap, their connection deviates from traditional stepmother-stepdaughter roles, as Hilaria disclosed in a conversation highlighted by People.
"The relationship I share with Ireland feels distinct, as technically we're a stepmom and stepdaughter pair," remarked the mother of seven. She underscored the humor stemming from their close age proximity, explaining, "We have always found humor in the fact that I'm just 11 years older and didn't raise her."
As both women embrace motherhood, Hilaria reflected on their evolving bond. While Hilaria and her husband Alec Baldwin celebrated the birth of their daughter Ilaria Catalina Irena in September 2022, Ireland introduced her first child, Holland, in May 2023. Although separated by distance, the two maintain frequent communication via FaceTime, recently arranging a memorable playdate for their children.
