Golden Globe nominee Joel Edgerton and Golden Globe winner Toni Collette are set to lead the cast of 'Fangs,' a thrilling black comedy directed by Australian filmmaker Lucy McKendrick. According to Variety, the film delves into themes of privilege, power, and perilous fantasies.

The narrative centers around Teddy, portrayed by McKendrick, who is the daughter of a private prison tycoon. She develops an obsession with a charismatic inmate named Fangs, played by Edgerton. As she becomes enraptured by the self-proclaimed 'psychopath,' Teddy's life begins to spiral out of control. 'Fangs' is being produced by Rebecca Yeldham, known for 'The Gift' and 'The Motorcycle Diaries,' along with Aggregate Films' Michael Costigan and Truant Pictures' Toby Nalbandian. The film is backed by Screen Australia and will commence filming in Sydney this August.
