Hollywood star Brad Pitt has opened up about what he described as 'the most unhealthy time' of his life following a challenging summer in 1994. Speaking on Dax Shepard's 'Armchair Expert' podcast, Pitt recounted a period marked by apathy and unhealthy habits after a string of unsatisfying blockbuster roles.

He detailed how he spent the summer engrossed in the O.J. Simpson trial, grappling with uncertainty about his career's future. Describing a typical day during that period, Pitt said it involved waking up to 'a bong load' and consuming four Coca-Colas without eating.

His career hit a turning point with the arrival of the 'Se7en' script, sent by his manager and friend, Cynthia Pett-Dante. Initially skeptical, Pitt was ultimately captivated by the script and a meeting with director David Fincher, who reignited his passion for filmmaking. 'Se7en,' released in 1995, became a landmark project for both Fincher and Pitt, featuring Morgan Freeman and Gwyneth Paltrow in supporting roles.
