In a bid to make Delhi a global event-management hub, the city’s Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra unveiled plans to introduce a digital single-window clearance system for event permissions.

The initiative was discussed during a roundtable involving government officials and industry representatives, focusing on sectors like art, culture, and destination weddings.

Strategies include capital-subsidy schemes, marketing support, and GST relaxations to foster the MICE sector, with calls for affordable venue rentals to showcase Delhi's heritage.
