Amadeus and World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance Expand Employability Program
Amadeus partners with the World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance to expand their Employability Program, focusing on youth employment and inclusivity in the hospitality sector. The program, currently in India, Egypt, and Sri Lanka, has already benefited 6,000 young people. Amadeus supports through mentorship and introducing hospitality software.
Amadeus, a prominent figure in the travel and tourism industry, is bolstering its commitment to fostering digital inclusion and skill development in hospitality by deepening its collaboration with the World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance. This enhanced partnership aims to broaden the Alliance's Employability Program globally, facilitating access to jobs and skills for youth.
Launching its first pilot in India, Amadeus is connecting with local non-profits and hospitality players to assist 200 underprivileged youth in various cities with training and career opportunities. Volunteers from Amadeus will bolster this effort by providing mentorship and technical expertise in hospitality software.
The initiative targets overcoming employment obstacles for young people, especially women, while addressing the industry's sustainable development needs. Leaders of the Alliance praise the venture, expecting it to catalyze positive community change and set a precedent for hospitality sectors worldwide to play an active role in ecological and economic upliftment.
