Summit Studios Debuts at TIFF with Groundbreaking Films

Summit Studios, a Mumbai-based film production and post-production company, is poised for its international debut with two films set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Spearheaded by producer Madhu Sharma, the newly established studio will present Bikas Mishra's 'Bayaan' and Jitank Singh Gurjar's 'Vimukt' (In Search of the Sky) at this esteemed festival.
'Bayaan', starring Huma Qureshi, is scheduled to be screened under TIFF's prestigious Discovery Section. Developed in Los Angeles at Film Independent, the film boasts a cast including Chandrachur Singh, Sachin Khedekar, and others. Meanwhile, 'Vimukt', directed by Jitank Singh Gurjar, is slated for its premiere in the festival's Centrepiece section.
In a statement celebrating this milestone, Summit Studios founder Madhu Sharma expressed that the venture represents the "realisation of a vision to back fearless, original cinema." Sharma highlighted the studio's commitment to promoting Indian-centric cinematic voices on a global platform. She described the festival premieres as "magical," reinforcing the studio's mission to foster creativity and technical excellence from inception to completion.
