In Ujjain city, Madhya Pradesh, a dramatic incident unfolded during the Dussehra celebrations when a large effigy of demon king Ravan toppled over due to strong winds.
The collapse resulted in minor injuries to three individuals, as confirmed by Dr Prakash Raghuvanshi, a member of the organizing committee.
Despite the mishap, the Ravan Dahan Samiti is working diligently to repair the effigy in time for the symbolic torching, underscoring the festival's tradition of celebrating the victory of good over evil.
