Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman embarked on a spiritually enriching visit to Ayodhya on Wednesday. Her itinerary included traditional prayers at the revered Ram temple, an iconic symbol of faith for millions.
On Thursday, Sitharaman performed both 'aarti' to Ram Lalla and paid her respects at the Ram Darbar. The ceremony underscored her personal connection to religious and cultural traditions.
During her visit, the minister engaged in an 'abhishek' of Lord Shiva at Kuber Tila, accompanied by Champat Rai, general secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, who provided insights into the temple's various aspects.
