The investigation into the death of Assamese cultural icon Zubeen Garg has taken a new turn as two more expats, Abhimanyu Talukdar and Tanmoy Phukan, appeared before Assam Police's CID for questioning. Both were present during Garg's final moments in Singapore last month.

The incident occurred while Garg was attending the 4th North East India Festival. With a focus on uncovering the truth, CID Special DGP Munna Prasad Gupta stated that their interrogation is ongoing. So far, seven Assamese NRIs have deposed and authorities continue to pursue those who haven't yet appeared.

The investigation has uncovered significant financial transactions involving Garg's PSOs, leading to several arrests under charges of murder, criminal conspiracy, and negligence. The case continues to unfold as more witnesses come forward.
