Comprehensive Security Revamp for Historic Shree Jagannath Temple

Girish Chandra Murmu, former Lt Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, announced a new comprehensive security plan for the 12th-century Shree Jagannath temple. The plan aims to protect the temple from both physical and digital threats, involving a detailed risk assessment and stakeholder consultation.

A comprehensive security plan will soon be implemented to ensure foolproof protection of the 12th-century Shree Jagannath temple, as announced by Girish Chandra Murmu, the head of the shrine's security sub-committee.

Murmu, with substantial experience in security from his previous roles, highlighted that the new strategies would involve assessing risks, managing vulnerabilities, and enhancing both physical and cybersecurity measures.

The Puri temple has faced recent security breaches, prompting the need for a structured plan approved by the Shree Jagannath Temple Managing Committee.
