The city of Delhi has thrown open the gates of the iconic Red Fort for a three-day event commemorating the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur. The event, inaugurated on Sunday, was promoted by the capital's Chief Minister, Rekha Gupta, who extended a warm invitation to people all over the country.
In an announcement made on social media platform X, Gupta highlighted the Guru's self-sacrifice for faith, freedom, and humanity. She emphasized that Guru Tegh Bahadur's life reminds humanity of the significance of safeguarding truth, justice, and religious freedom.
The celebration includes a rich tapestry of cultural expressions such as a light-and-sound presentation, a dedicated museum, a Kirtan Darbar, and a Seva-Langar, all weaving together to honor the Guru's enduring legacy.
