President Droupadi Murmu on Friday underscored the pressing need for a balance between competition and cooperation in bolstering national and social structures.
Addressing the closing ceremony of Bharat Scouts and Guides' diamond jubilee in Lucknow, President Murmu drew attention to India's ambitious developmental vision of 'Viksit Bharat' by 2047. She emphasized the significant role of the youth, pointing out that 65% of India's populace is under 35.
Murmu also lauded the substantial contributions of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, highlighting their aptitude in nurturing crucial skills and environmental stewardship. She called for young individuals to embody the Scouts' ethos of 'being prepared', which resonates strongly against global environmental challenges.
