Stockholm's Museum of Architecture and Design has unveiled its annual Christmas gingerbread house competition, showcasing 151 edible masterpieces inspired by iconic landmarks. This year's theme, 'love of design and architecture,' has drawn participants from children to professional architects and bakers.

Tributes include gingerbread renditions of the Eiffel Tower, Taj Mahal, and Pippi Longstocking's house, capturing the annual spirit of creativity and festive tradition. According to acting director Karin Nilsson, the chosen theme celebrates the universal spirit of love and Christmas.

The exhibition, a staple now in its 35th year, opens to the public from Friday, running until mid-January, with winners announced on December 14.
