In a tragic incident, a devastating fire at the Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub in Goa has claimed at least 25 lives, leaving six others injured. The fire erupted post-midnight at the venue located in Arpora village, approximately 25 km from the state capital, Panaji.
Jharkhand's Chief Minister, Hemant Soren, expressed profound sadness over the incident. He remarked that the news of multiple fatalities in the inferno was "extremely heartbreaking" and extended his prayers for the swift recovery of those injured.
Soren called upon the supreme tribal deity, Marang Buru, to provide solace to the departed souls and strength to their grieving families. His statements were conveyed via a post on the social platform X, reflecting the collective grief felt by many.
