A minor fire sparked concern at Sabarimala's Lord Ayyappa temple on Sunday, as flames briefly threatened the busy temple premises.
The fire, which ignited at approximately 8.20 a.m. near a banyan tree close to the aazhi, was believed to have been caused by a short circuit in LED decorative lights.
Firefighters responded swiftly to prevent the fire from spreading, allowing pilgrimage activities to resume soon after, with authorities reporting no injuries or damages.
