Tragedy Strikes: Monkeys Cause Fatal Porch Collapse

In a tragic incident, 35-year-old Umesh Kumar was crushed to death when a porch collapsed after monkeys jumped on it in Kheda Rath village. The victim was resting on a cot below the porch when it succumbed to the weight. His family declined a post-mortem examination.

A tragic event unfolded in Kheda Rath village when a 35-year-old man named Umesh Kumar was killed after a porch collapsed on him, caused by a troop of monkeys jumping on it.

The incident occurred under the jurisdiction of Jaitipur Police Station on Tuesday night. According to Circle Officer Jyoti Yadav, the monkeys were fighting when they inadvertently caused the collapse.

Despite quick efforts by the police to rescue him, Kumar was pronounced dead. His family decided against a post-mortem examination, as confirmed by the police.
