Gulmarg: Asia's Longest Ski Drag Lift Unveiled
Omar Abdullah, Jammu and Kashmir's Chief Minister, inaugurated Asia's longest ski drag lift at Gulmarg, enhancing its winter sports infrastructure. The launch included a revolving multi-purpose hall and various tourism projects, aiming to position Gulmarg as a premier global winter tourism destination while conserving its ecology.

Jammu and Kashmir's Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, inaugurated Asia's longest ski drag lift in Gulmarg on Saturday. Known as India's skiing capital, the hill station now boasts enhanced winter sports infrastructure.
In addition to the ski lift, Abdullah opened the world's highest revolving multi-purpose hall in the Affarwat area, which includes a restaurant.
The projects, including an Integrated Skiing Training and Adventure Tourism Centre, are aimed at transforming Gulmarg into a global winter tourism hub, creating employment and adhering to sustainable practices.
