Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Ayodhya on Tuesday to honor the late Ram Vilas Vedanti, a former BJP MP and key figure in the Ram Janmabhoomi movement, who succumbed to a heart attack.

Adityanath praised Vedanti as a lifelong devotee to Lord Ram and national service, offering floral tributes at Vashishtha Ashram. In a heartfelt post on X, he emphasized that Vedanti's life of sacrifice remains deeply inspirational.

Vedanti, aged 67, passed away in Madhya Pradesh after dealing with septicemia and multiple organ failure. His body was brought to Ayodhya for final rituals, marking a significant loss to the spiritual community and Sanatan Dharma.
