Tragic Fire at Magh Mela Claims Life of Young Guard
A devastating fire at the Magh Mela in Prayagraj took the life of 25-year-old Manas Mishra as flames engulfed a tent where he was stationed. Having sustained severe burns, Mishra was hospitalized but tragically succumbed to his injuries. Officials report this as the third fire incident at the Mela this year.

A tragic fire incident at the Magh Mela grounds in Prayagraj has claimed the life of a 25-year-old man. The deceased, identified as Manas Mishra, was severely burned when a fire erupted in the tent where he was stationed late Thursday night.
Superintendent of Police Neeraj Pandey confirmed the blaze occurred on Annapurna Marg in the mela area's Sector 5. Mishra, who was asleep in the tent at the time, was promptly rushed to SRN Hospital. Despite medical intervention, he succumbed to his injuries on Friday.
This marks the third fire incident at this year's Magh Mela. No other casualties were reported, and a postmortem examination is underway to further investigate the incident.
