On Thursday, Netflix launched Eyeline Studios, its premier visual effects and virtual production hub, in Hyderabad. As part of a strategic expansion in India's burgeoning animation, VFX, gaming, and comics sector, the inauguration drew significant figures, including Telangana's Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and actor-producer Rana Daggubati.

Founded in 2019 and merging with Scanline VFX in 2025, Eyeline Studios represents Netflix's innovation hub for next-generation filmmaking technology. Equipped with state-of-the-art systems like the Light Dome volumetric lighting and AI/ML-driven tools, the studio boasts credits in popular shows like "Stranger Things" and "Daredevil: Born Again."

The Hyderabad facility, spanning 32,000 sq ft, marks Eyeline's fifth global location. In a message, Netflix Co-CEO Ted Sarandos highlighted India's dynamic storytelling market and the government's AVGC sector focus, asserting Netflix's commitment to fostering Indian creativity and technical talent.
