Aaron Pierre Joins DC Universe in 'Superman 2: The Man of Tomorrow'

Actor Aaron Pierre has been announced as the newest cast member in DC Studios' upcoming film, 'Superman 2: The Man of Tomorrow'.

Pierre, celebrated for his work in 'Rebel Ridge' and 'The Underground Railroad', will portray the character of John Stewart, the Green Lantern. The film is directed by James Gunn and is scheduled for release on July 9, 2027, with production to commence in Atlanta.

This sequel follows the success of the first 'Superman' film, which featured David Corenswet as Superman and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. The storyline will see the return of these characters, alongside Rachel Brosnahan and others, as they face the alien threat Brainiac, portrayed by Lars Eidinger.
