The Jharkhand High Court has mandated tourism secretary Mukesh Kumar and Ramgarh Deputy Commissioner Faiz Aq Ahmed Mumtaz to conduct a survey of Maa Chinnamastika Temple in Rajrappa.
The court's decision comes in response to a petition concerning non-compliance with previous beautification orders for the temple premises. The court emphasized enhancing safety around the Bhairavi River, where several unfortunate drowning incidents have occurred.
Additionally, the court queried the role of Central Coalfields Limited in contributing to the temple's development under its corporate social responsibility initiatives. A comprehensive hearing is planned for April 24.
