A 34-year-old man lost his life in a tragic accident involving fireworks during Vishu celebrations in Sreekrishnapuram, police reported on Thursday.
The victim, identified as Dileep, was engaging in traditional festivities with friends when a cracker in his hand inadvertently ignited others, leading to severe injuries.
Dileep was promptly taken to a local hospital but sadly succumbed to his injuries. Initial assessments suggest a cardiac arrest as the cause of death, pending postmortem confirmation. The Sreekrishnapuram police have launched an investigation into the incident.
