Devotees Embark on Sacred Journey to Adi Kailash and Om Parvat
The Adi Kailash and Om Parvat pilgrimage has begun, with over 350 devotees departing for the high-altitude shrines from Pithoragarh district. The Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam will officially start organized tours. Those taking part are advised to stay cautious due to the challenging weather conditions.

The pilgrimage to the sacred sites of Adi Kailash and Om Parvat began on Friday in the Pithoragarh district, marking a significant religious event.
Over 350 devotees commenced their spiritual journey from Dharchula, led by Sub-divisional Magistrate Ashish Joshi, who flagged off the convoy of pilgrims.
Joshi reported that more than 500 applications were received for Inner Line Permits, with 350 permits issued. Devotees are urged to remain vigilant in the face of adverse weather conditions as they travel through the high-altitude Himalayan region.
