Empowering Cultural Leaders Through Inquiry: THE BRIJ Fellowship

THE BRIJ Cultural Leaders Fellowship is a nine-month programme aimed at cultivating mid-career cultural practitioners and cross-sector professionals in India. Emphasizing inquiry over instruction, it offers a unique leadership development journey supported by the French Embassy and Serendipity Arts, culminating in a Research Inquiry Proposal.

Serendipity Arts is launching THE BRIJ Cultural Leaders Fellowship, a new initiative focused on developing cultural leadership in India. Supported by the French Embassy, the fellowship spans nine months and targets mid-career cultural and cross-sector professionals.

Participants will engage in a unique process of inquiry rather than following a set curriculum, fostering a deeper intellectual and ethical foundation in cultural practices. The program is structured into three phases: Self & Context, Ecosystem & Region, and Leadership & Futures, offering diverse learning experiences.

The fellowship emphasizes cross-disciplinary exchange, supported by a strong alumni network and mentoring. Designed to enhance intellectual curiosity and leadership through a structured inquiry, it is positioned as a strategic effort to empower future cultural leaders in India.
